After our trip to Vegas for the NAB Conference, and a long day of travel back that Thursday, I forgot to finish the blog post from last week… time to catch you up on everything PhotoJoseph has been up to. NAB was April 9th - 12th in Las Vegas, and PhotoJoseph and I were there every-day-all-day, but our story starts on Sunday when Joseph released the video he shot during his trip to Slovenia highlighting the Gnarbox coupled with LumaFusion. If you haven't seen that one yet, definitely go give it a watch. And to show off the combination of Gnarbox and Lumafusion even more, the short NAB Highlights video was the result of Joseph editing on his iPad in our Air BnB early in the morning over a cup of coffee. For those who didnt make it to NAB this year, there's also a video of Joseph giving a demo presentation on Gnarbox + LumaFusion. And when we finally got back to the studio on Friday, Joseph gave a brief recap of everything we saw at NAB, and also directed everyone to a friend's podcast.

I took a Gnarbox and an iPad with with pre-release LumaFusion software on a trip to Slovenia to make a video about using it. What do you think? (This is a video about using the products and traveling though Slovenia. This was edited in Final Cut Pro).

Ok, that's last week… now let's do this week. Everything was truly back to normal, (Sorry for the tease a few weeks ago). Monday's show was an unboxing and exploration of the G9 Battery Grip, fairly straightforward. Moving on. On Wednesday, Joseph revisited an old but popular topic: How to connect a wireless mic to a current iPhone (sans headphone jack). It's been over a year since the last video, and with two new iPhones out and general industry progress, a new video was needed. And finally, on Friday, we were treated to a "behind the scenes" look into his Gnarbox Slovenia project in Final Cut Pro.

We hope everyone has a great weekend! You can catch us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30am PT for the LIVE Photo Moments

Got a G9? Want longer battery life, a vertical grip, or just a bigger camera to hold on to? Then the BGG9 is your friend! Also let's answer the question, "is the grip trigger less sensitive than the camera trigger?"

Ever tried adding a wireless microphone to your iPhone 7, iPhone 8, or iPhone X? Turns out more adapters than you realize might be needed... It used to be simple. You could use a RØDE smartLav+ and connect directly. Or use any wired or wireless mic with a simple TRS to TRRS adapter and be good to go.
