First Post Focus video is in the wild!
The first of two Panasonic LUMIX Post Focus videos I've produced are in the wild now. The second one, on Focus Stacking, has been delivered and we're just waiting for it to be released. I think this came out pretty good; what do you think?
And again the Focus Stacking one, which utilized Post Focus feature, will be out very soon.
The next lynda.com "The DIY Photographer" video is out
Here's another video for your enjoyment… the latest in the lynda.com "The DIY Photographer" series was released this week. I love this one; super simple, very very cheap, and definitely something you can use if you do video on a dSLR or dSLM camera.
DxO videos in production
There are two more videos for DxO in production, both of which will finish this week. I think they'll be released right away, so hopefully I'll get to share those next week!
Liquid Assets Wine Bar photos
I shot these photos for Liquid Assets Wine Bar in my hometown of Ashland, Oregon ages and ages ago, and we finally got the website updated. I've done all the photography on this site, but the new photos are some of the portraits and food images. The restaurant hired a new chef, so the co-owner Jim could move into a position of "Food and beverage director". The new Chef, Serena, added some fabulous dishes to the menu, which I got to photograph. And sample. Oh my.
If you're even in Ashland, Oregon, be sure to stop by Liquid Assets. It's an amazing place and one of my favorite restaurants in Ashland.
I hosted TWiP this week
The host of TWiP (This Week in Photo) is galavanting around Vietnam for a couple of weeks, so I hosted this week's show! Give that a listen; it's a great podcast overall and this was a fun episode.
The week ahead
We have two videos for DxO to deliver this week so that's priority one. I have a quick shoot scheduled at a local auto repair shop. I will quite possibly finally start my long-awaited "Lightroom for Aperture Users" series, too. If you're interested, be sure you're following PhotoApps.Expert on twitter or facebook. I think it'll be a bit of a Q&A to start, to get a feeling of what's needed, but that depends if my chat module is ready to go by then.
The week after I'll be at B&H Photo in New York giving a presentation. If you're in NY, be sure to come by!
