Digital Camera RAW Update 4.09 for Aperture and iPhoto

As far as Camera RAW Updates go, this is a pretty small one — it adds only one new camera! It does also list a couple of bug fixes for previously supported cameras though.

Aperture 3.5 Update Showing Up For More Users

If you were having trouble seeing Aperture 3.5 update, try again

The traffic on the @ApertureExpert twitter account was out of control yesterday with reports of people seeing Aperture 3.5, and not seeing it, or seeing it and not being able to update, or seeing it but being asked to pay for it… however as expected, things are calming down this morning.

Downloading OS X Mavericks now. Perhaps there will be a compatibility update for Aperture that will show up once Mavericks is installed? If anyone beats me to the install, let us know if anything for Aperture shows up after that.

Cheering up Skies in Aperture 3

I’ve always used the burn in brush to darken skies but the results are grey and muddy. Brushing in contrast too perks up the white clouds and brings a surprising amount of blue to the skies — with both at default settings.
