Have you ever wondered just how Curves work? Wonder no more… in this session we explore Curves in Photos — while not the most expansive Curves tool in the industry, it certainly can get the job done.

In this video, we look at enhancement, correction and effects using Curves.

  • Adjust basic contrast
  • Adjust advanced contrast; adjusting highs, mids and shadows individually
  • Correct for color casts and incorrect white balance
  • Correct white balance with WB tool, then enhance colors with Curves
  • Explore lifting black levels of individual RGB channels for effects (i.e. old film looks)

Hi,

I have just seen your video. Regarding the question - how to download the photos of an album local on iPad  - there is a workaround for that:

Just play a slideshow for that album. After the slideshow ends, you have every photo of this album stored local on iPad.

kind regards

michael

Good point — that will force them to download. However, that doesn't force them to STAY downloaded, AFAIK. You still end up with the problem where the photo you want may not be available when you need it if you're offline (i.e. on an airplane).
