Hi Joseph,

Last week you walked me through relocation of my masters in aperture 3. Finally it came down to the fact that they were gone for good. The last time I emailed you I said I was on my way to my local Apple store. They suggested the data recovery application, Data Rescue 3. It worked well. I retrieved a lot of my most recent trashed photos from my hard drive and from several sd cards. I appreciate all of your help. I learned a lot!!

Jerry,

Glad to hear you were able to recover at least some of your images. And please don’t take this the wrong way, as it’s a lesson to ALL of us… but hopefully one of the lessons learned is to back up, regularly and often!

Backup is insanely simple and cheap these days, and we all need to do it. As they say, there are two types of computer users in this world… those who’ve lost data, and those who haven’t—yet.

Again, very pleased to hear you got some images back. I hope I was able to help even a little bit.

cheers
-Joseph

Hi Joseph,

Agreed!! Since our discussion, I’ve put all of my masters in vault on my back-up drive.

Thanks,

Jerry

I also faced the same problem with my hard drive. I lost important data from my drive. When i faced that problem at that time tried many possible processes and also format the system. Now i have been searching the data recovery service center for restore all data from hard drive. If anyone has any information then suggest to me.
