Is it possible to use the brushes while focused under the loupe?

Excellent question that I have never attempted. I could see the value when using small brushes to apply fine detail adjustments. If you test it let us know what you find.

Well, so far, I haven’t been able to do it. I was wondering if there is a way. It certainly can be done in LR and I would hope that if & when we get Aperture 4 it’s enabled.

You can zoom in 1:1 or greater and make adjustments. Choose the Viewer (full image) panel and press the “Z” key to view at actual size (100% zoom). Then press CMD = to zoom in further. You can pan around the image to the location you want to edit. Using this method you can use brushes on adjustment bricks to apply adjustments to selected areas and see closely what is changing.

Walter

Thank you. That works perfectly for me.
