Watch me edit in Final Cut Pro! (LIVE Replay)

Photo Moment - April 13, 2021

This was a fun experiment… I edited a video in Final Cut Pro for three hours — LIVE! And… there's commentary. Oh my.

To get the most out of this, there's two videos to watch. Above is the live stream of my screen, in 4K. This will allow you to see my screen in quite good detail. But just to make this more exciting, my friends Chris Fenwick and Felipe Baez added live commentary over my edit in real-time! In their video you can see my screen, but not at the quality mine. So…

I recommend opening both videos side by side, or even on separate screens, and syncing them up. You can mute my video, and only listen to theirs, to hear everything… or mute them at any time you just want to hear me.

To get the videos synced up, set them both to the following time stamps. This should be quite close:

Get 'em synced and start playing! It's a little nuts… and it's definitely far from perfect, but it's fun. This was a realtime experiment and we didn't spend much time preparing for it, so it's a little wild. Enjoy!!

This is a replay of the LIVE show! I go live every Tuesday 10am Pacific or Wednesday 9pm Pacific (or some other random time if those don't work out) for a show of random chattering and meandering tech. It's a great place to get any lingering questions you have, answered!
