If you have iCloud Photo Library enabled, and are using an iOS device, then you know that shortly after you shoot a photo on your iOS device, it shows up in Photos.app. But what happens when you’re offline, or simply don’t have the bandwidth to sync? It turns out if you import manually, you’ll be OK — as long as you don’t get fancy about it.
Today’s WWDC 2015 keynote didn’t mention Photos specifically, but the Extensions capability we’ve been waiting for was mentioned in the “other” slide, and is now on the Apple developer website, indicating that Extensions will be coming with OS X El Capitan.
Are you using the new Lightroom; the version that's the same (mostly) on desktop and mobile? Then you may have noticed that a few features are NOT actually on both platforms. The ones that get me the most are Copy Photos (ie duplicate photos) and Batch Paste. I've found a way around it… in a round about sort of way. Check it out!
