In this show, we'll tour a variety of live streaming solutions. Ever seen the movie “Inception”? It's like that… but with live streaming. We cover the hardware options, the software options, and all of the areas to troubleshoot for each (like audio or syncing). Don't worry… your tour guide is here.

Hardware: Mevo Event Camera
Everything you need to set up a live capture session is included in the Mevo Plus Event Camera Kit with Boost, Case, and Mic Stand
I haz Mevo Plus! Let's take a look at this new version of the Mevo Event Camera from Livestream. What are the differences? What are it's capabilities?
Have a few Q's you want an A to? Seems like our viewers did. Joseph covered questions on Cine Lenses, the Mevo Event Camera, using Flash with the GH5, Auto focus in 10bit mode, Connecting a lav mic to a laptop, GH5 Stabilization in VFR mode, and much more
I'm leaving for a family holiday next week, trying to balance out what I take between just being dad and still being a photographer/filmmaker/YouTuber. Packing for work and vacation at the same time… Also, today's show is dual-streamed from Wirecast (as I normally would) and the epiphan X2. Let's see which is better quality and/or lower latency!
I'll be going live from somewhere, somehow, in the big wide universe… which is actually my back patio.
Who knows what this is or was about… it could be anything. ANYTHING!! Well, actually it's two professional photographers sitting down to talk about how drones have opened a bunch of new doors in the world of photography.
I never pack the same bag twice… what's in it this time? You can't anticipate everything in your day. Some times you will see the perfect shot… and not be prepared. So how do you pack a bag to be ready for what can't be anticipated?
I've just updated to a new beta of the Mevo app, which should fix some of the issues we've seen. Let's see what it can do!
Ever have a day where inspiration just doesn't come? That was the case with today's show. Combine that with technical details, and you have a recipe for shooting-from-the-hip… Luckily, Joseph is a pro. What started out as a Reddit-Style AMA quickly became a test of the Mevo's ability to be a car-vlog camera. It would be a decent option… if only there was cell-reception.
I downloaded the Mevo beta (cleverly publicly available on their Facebook page!) and am testing out going straight to YouTube, using the simplest of setups… just the Mevo (no Boost), my iPhone for data, and a lav mic wired into the iPhone. Let's see how this looks and sounds!
