We just got ours on Monday. We were the first customer to get one from Sweetwater in the US. Great box. Some expected glitches that I am seeing but I will work with yololiv to get them fixed.
Great video rundown! Does the headphone output have delay when monitoring?
No, however, whenever you experience delay on headphones, it is likely from the camera interface to the device. That’s where the delay happens. So there will be no delay between what is on screen and what is in your ears, however, there may be a delay between what is in front of the camera and what you hear. This is a natural part of digital processing from the camera to the destination and has nothing to do with the YoloBox. In fact, the box will have delay programming built in so that you can bring audio in sync with video if that is an issue.
    Pretty impressive numbers and device.
    I think so too
How much will it cost? Also, what’s the best way to use my iPhone camera and how to connect it to the YoloBox?
Yep and Amazon US has it in stock now. iPhone camera — there are many apps that provide a clean video out, so then you just need a USB-C or Lightning to HDMI adapter.
B&H has it listed "coming soon" for $1,999
I'm still burnt from the abysmal performance of the Ultra. I wish i could THOROUGHLY test before purchase.
    @PlatinumPanda thank you!
just as a note, your excellent videos on the s5iiX were very useful so thankyou very much.
@@photojoseph excellent. Really push the processor and see what the practical limit of features is
I have one but never really beat on it. I plan to THOROUGHLY torture the Extremes though.
    User-replaceable battery?
No, none of these devices do. Like your cell phone.
This proves there is absolutely nothing stopping Rode or Blackmagic updating their devices to support 4K60. I’m looking forward to an updated version of the Rodecaster Video. The Yolobox form factor just looks like a nightmare for cable management when permanently used in a desk setup
@liamfoneill Blackmagic had several boxes that can do 4K60 and even 8K. Hardware isn’t the problem. Hardware at a cost most people want to pay is the problem.
@ because I have heard the argument that it would be difficult if not problematic to be able to build a switcher that can handle 4 4K60 inputs with current processors yet here is Yolobox having done that. I’m not talking about a firmware update, I’m saying it proves that if Rode wanted to they could release a Rodecaster Video tomorrow that supported 4k60 on all inputs.
How does that prove RØDE can upgrade their hardware to 4K, much less 4K60? Sorry but that statement makes no sense. The bandwidth and the processing power is highly unlikely to be built into the RØDE to handle that. And it’s not like this is a YoloBox Pro with a new firmware update. This is a massive hardware upgrade from the non-4K models, and even a big upgrade from the 4K30 model.
The feature chart is very helpful.
    Glad to hear that!
    Brilliant insight - cheers!
Just spreading the news for now 😅 I'll get on that in-depth video ASAP
