I have the same problem at 10% ...
What you think about an alternative, using just a white LED panel but putting colored gels over it? Would that make a similar light? Is the main reason for the RGB LED, convenience or you get better colors than a gel over the light?

Gels aren’t as rich in color, and you have a more color options with RGB LEDs.
