These seem awesome 😃 Are they replacing the C1 series?
That I don’t know, sorry
Very well written & presented. Cool test with the bicycles. Quite a product and crazy affordable. Thank you.
Thank you Bob!
Great thanks. I have those as well. Do you get the disconnected/connected voice in both headsets or only in the slave? I seam to only get it in the slave and not in the master I am using.

I didn’t quite understand the double feature of the usb-c? Can I connect lets say a Lavalier or my camera and hear what is happening or is it different?
Hmm, we definitely got the message in both master and remote. The USB-C is for charging or PD power, or it can be used for additional headphones. Maybe you want someone else listening in, or more likely specialized monitors (like custom in-ear monitors) so you can hear even better. Those you’d be able to fit under the regular headset.
Have you had a chance to cross reference them against the Pro? How would you say these stack up?
I have not. These are the only ones they sent out.
Great review, loved the shower test 😂
One thing unfortunately missing in the test was the latency test.
Thank for sharing that!
@@rubenparada866 I have been using the Solidcom C1 headsets and the latency has not been a problem for us on livestream shoots. For us the only time two people are really close is when the director and replay operators are sitting at the main desk and even then I don't notice the echo, it could be there, but it is not noticeable in a live environment (maybe my brain just blocks it out?). The SE's look even better with the active noise cancelling!
@rubenparada866 I think this is worth considering. It performed well in my tests.
@@photojoseph Thank you for sharing your experience.
I was thinking of purchasing this set (or something similar) for the communication between the Livestream director and the camera operators.
Haha thanks! So I thought about the latency thing, and concluded that it wasn’t worth doing a critical test on because you’re just having a conversation, so as long as you can (and you can), if it’s ¼ second or ⅕ second or ⅓ second delayed it doesn’t matter. If you’re standing next to the person taking then you hear an “echo” so yeah, there’s a tiny delay, but otherwise it’s not anything to be concerned with.
Greatest intro and outro ever! 😄
THANK YOU!! haha
Can you sync 10 of them in the same frequency?
I don't know, you'd have to check with the manufacturer. But I know they make a bigger brother to this that can, with a dedicated base station. If you need ten, that's probably a better choice. Check out the videos the Craterr crew did on a KIA commercial; they talk about them there: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyvDAc1oLWXrqULBBkbjNrbWAqcGizU8V
That shower test was hilarious. :)
Haha good opening, right?
