What is the “Snap Movie Mode” found on many LUMIX cameras? It has Recording Time, Pull Focus and Fade options… so what's it all do?

Hi I have the Lumix 330 can you transfer all your video from the camera to the phone
I don’t know if that camera works with the lumix sync app or not but far easier is to copy the files off the SD card using an SD reader or just plug the camera into your computer with a USB cable
Cool little feature. I wish the focus pull would be slower. Like the full duration of the time setting.
i find this tutorial pull focus working with my pana 25mm but with sigma 30mm f1.4 contemporary the pull focus was disabled. why?
I think this only works with native lenses

Does it make your ego feel better to insult people online that you don't know, especially without understanding that what you were watching was a LIVE show? It never ceases to amaze me how people who don't do this are so quick to insult those of us that do.
Also, is there any to control the snap movie rack focus speed? Mine goes really quickly, when it works. So I don't even understand the point of the 6 or 8 second modes. Thanks!
Thanks for this video. What is everything else set to, in your menu? I have a very shaky focus box (yellow and white) when I drag my finger, and I don't know why (G7). Sometimes it racks focus when recording a short clip, but most of the time, it does not. Thank you!!
Fist of all i would like to say thanks for all your videos and hard work I struggled through this. My Pull focus was greyed out and i messed with some setting but not even sure what made the option available. If Possible are you able to tell or show us what mode your in and if your lens in on manuel or auto.

just bought G85. is there a button to playback video on the Lumix G85 other than the touch screen button?. i’m trying to view playback on a field monitor.

You can still blend the feature with other 4k shots. No one we notice it.

I think you captured this gimmicky feature right on the money, nice job. I'm having a problem though with my new GX85, maybe you can help :) Does your GX85 give you drastic differences in recordings times between 1080 MP4 vs 1080 AVCHD ??

Thanks for the quick reply. I have only wanted to shoot MP4 so I can edit my content.On a 128gb card made to record 4k, my camera says I have close to 3hrs. of recording time(MP4-4k 100m/249). If I leave the format in MP4 and change the record quality to FHD 28M/60p my camera says I have 27min. of recording time.If I just change change the rec. format to AVCHD I get over 10hrs. of record time. I have reformatted my card and reset to factory default, I even bought another sd card to rule out a faulty card.But I don't have a spare GX85 to see if anyone else is experiencing this as well. Very frustrating. Any suggestions :) Thanks
+Bruce Breidbart Never shot in AVCHD but it's a dramatically different format so that's not surprising. If you plan to edit your content, shoot in MP4/MOV. Only shoot AVCHD if your intention is to just play video on your TV.
Love this. I didn't realize my camera would do it. I think you undersold the feature a bit even considering it's 1080P only. I think it would be handy for little quick cut travel videos on the go.
