OK, I cropped a photo. Now want to see the original. I hit the “M” key, also selected the photo and asked for the original or something like that. I can't find the original anywhere. This photo is in a book I'm creating, also in a Smart Album and in the Photo Project. What in the world am I doing wrong? Should I make a duplicate next time before making changes?
Thanks, Sandy
No need to make a duplicate, the best this about Aperture is non destructive editing.
Are you selecting the photo while in the book view and pressing M?
If so you can not do this. You have to go back to the photo viewer to see the original.
OK, I don’t think I understand the file structure because I reread your comment and still couldn’t find the photo. Then went to the top level of Folders and found the Original, and gave it a Keyword so I could find it. I think I need Josephs ebook on File structure. I watched his Live Learning class but I guess I need even more info.
So you were correct and I need more learning.
