I want to post photos to Facebook which I can share with my friends on the newsfeed, but they only appear on my own timeline. When I try to edit the album, I see that it is mysteriously set to the “only me” option though I never select this option. When I posted I selected that “friends” could see the photos.  If I go onto Facebook and change the “only me” setting to “friends” my photos still do not appear in the news feed (therefore, no one knows I posted them). 

I tried following the tutorial on Aperture Expert, unfortunately, the Facebook button on Aperture gives me a window with no drop down menu to select an album despite the fact that I created an album (on the tutorial, one appears). 

Also, is there a way to post photos to a particular Facebook group. For instance, from Aperture, can I post family reunion photos so that they are only displayed to a group I have set up on Facebook, as “family”?
