Live from Oaxaca! PhotoJoseph is using the third party app Emoze to stream live right to YouTube. The first attempt, (yesterday), didn't work out too well, but we are determined to figure this out. It's a completely different setup this time.

No, Instagram doesn’t allow streaming to their platform from any third party apps, as far as I understand.
Very nice quality transmission from Mexico. Very impressive. Sorry I just have to say there is nothing equivocal about an f-stop. It is very simple. Just look it up in Wikipedia: The f-number N or f# is given by:

is the diameter of the entrance pupil (effective aperture). I don't know what is so complicated about it? It is what it is. It's just a property of the lens determined by the physical dimensions of the lens, no matter what size that lens is. I agree with you that this is not what matters. What matters is what the results are in your photos. The comparison you will be doing will tell all. But it will still be up the individual as to what is "good", what is "bad" and what is "good enough" for the amount of and quality of bokeh for any given shot.
