Can I use a Mevo start and a Mevo Plus both at the same time?
@@photojoseph thanks man.
I think it depends on what you mean. Multicam? Probably not. Just streaming to two places? Sure, they’re independent.
hello, my name is Jiří Drozd and I'm from the Czech Republic - I know I'm writing pretty late when it's 2020 and your video is 2017, but I got my hands on Mevo plus camera today, I want to use it to record fulHD videos, my work in the workshop and also as a webcam for streaming games on twitch TV, I am mainly interested in its ability to focus on various objects in its field of view, it is very useful for me when working on a lathe or milling machine, I'm a little afraid of destroying the image sensor with a migmag welder, but if it should be prone to it, then I would record this on an old smartphone, it has a 20Mps camera and records 30fps in fulHD and I know it will last, especially I'm not sorry to destroy it, it's over - the battery is KO and a cracked display with a broken touch foil that only works poorly and just running on that app is a fight.
I like that you're talking about a mevo camera without a cover and plainly, it's just not a promo. purely just a camera in my country is still quite expensive about 1/2 of my salary, I'm not talking about the whole set, just a camera without additional batteries.
I know he can shoot videos in 4K, but my pc renders 4k all day :)
simply i5 9600KF and nvidia 1660 6GB, 32GB DDr4 RAM + 5x ssd Samsung evo890 is the smallest setup for a little normal rendering time.
mainly I am quite comfortable with the possibility of sending video via wifi to a PC, where it can be stored and I do not need such a large sd card.
Thank you for the tips I have to run, the woman wants to help save the children :)
Question. Does the MEVO CAMERA record normally? or from a Bird / Fish perspective ? Thank you

This one is a very wide field of view. Not “fisheye” but still very wide. The new Mevo Start is more “normal”. I just did a video on it actually: https://youtu.be/O1s1X3F6QBU
Can you stream to more than one social media platform?
Ok, never mind. I got to the part in the video where you explained that.
What is the minimum distance for setup of the MEVO?
PhotoJoseph thank you sir
Nathan Brewer oh I see. You can hold that thing in your hand and be in focus. It’s a very wide field of view.
PhotoJoseph ...no Mevo to you... I have a tiny studio ...minimal distances all around.
You mean from Mevo to phone? No idea, but I’m sure it varies from phone to phone.
How did you pop up chatting window?
Thank you for demonstrating how to remove the screw to access the tripod socket! This alone makes me a subscriber to your channel.
Haha thanks, and you’re welcome!
How well does the video work in low light? Looking to live stream a college baseball game at night. Stadium has lights but not MLB level lighting so it's still a bit dark.
+gawkowd3 Ooh, I haven't tested but I wouldn't expect great things in low light. It's a small sensor and you're punching into it. I think it's safe to say this is a good-light-only scenario. Keep in mind too a basketball game has a LOT of movement, so you've got compression working against you too. I think you need a different solution, like a larger sensor camera and separate streaming hardware. I can try it sometime if you remind me once they get youtube support out — that's what I'm waiting for before continuing working with it.
