I’ve recently switched from iphoto to Apature. I used to manage all my facebook albums through iphoto. There are some albums that I often update them when I take new photos. My question is how can I retrieve my facebook album to my Apature so I can add more photos to the existing facebook album (which created in iphoto) I tried creating new album with the same name in Apature and sync it.. still doesn’t merge with the existing one.

I don’t believe that Aperture will connect to existing Facebook albums. I haven’t seen any of my existing Facebook albums show up in Aperture, so I’m guessing that Aperture creates some flag in each album it creates that lets it stay connected, and without that flag, has no idea that the Facebook album exists.
The only suggestion I can think of is to recreate all of the albums and re-upload all of the photos. But then you would lose any comments you already had, not to mention being a bit tedious.
Anyone else have any suggestions? I have to admit I’d like to see all my existing Facebook libraries show up in aperture!
