I am testing out tethering using a Canon 5D Mk II, Aperture 3.1.1 and Lion 10.7.1

It seems very flaky to me (never certain what is going to happen) but the main issue is that it imports files and then deletes them. They are not visible in the project unless I go to the trash and select “Put Back”.

At this point I am going to turn everything off and on again and see what happens but if anyone has some ideas I would be very grateful
