It seems that since Mtn Lion, and maybe the last two updates of Aperture, I find that when I want to exit out of Aperture I get the “Updating information for sharing” bar that takes forever to run through and close out Aperture. Maybe it's just my MBP which seems to be running slower lately with way too many spinning beach balls. Anyone else run into this?

D’oh…Please ignore. I just figured out that in Aperture>Preferences>Previews, the drop down menu for “Sharing previews with iLife and iWork” is automatically selected. I just changed it to “never” and that seemed to solve the problem. At least with closing out from Aperture. Maybe this helped someone else and wasn’t a total waste of space.
