Just before ending the Pixelmator training, version 1.1 “Monsoon” was released. So this is a quick look at the new features in this update!

Version 1.1 is a nice update, with several new features. Some we can't look at (the Touch Bar support), and some aren't for demo-ing (like their new tutorial content!), but here's what we did look at:

• Export for the Web, including Slice Tool
• Auto Color Adjustment (White Balance, Brightness and Hue & Saturation)
• Advanced Compression (we found it!) for PNG export
• Quick Export and Export Presets
• SVG and HEIF support (discussed, not shown)
• Live Previews (ok, that took a minute to figure out… d'oh!)
• Select Color Range
