Apple has just released the Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.5, adding RAW image support for a handful of new cameras to Aperture 3 and iPhoto ‘11. The camera list includes:
- Canon PowerShot G12
- Leica D-Lux 5
- Leica V-Lux 2
- Nikon D7000
- Nikon COOLPIX P7000
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2
If you’re a new user of one of these cameras, this will be a welcome update. Run software update to download the new version, or download it from the kb article here.

I immediately downloaded the update when I heard that it would solve the MediaBrowser issue. For me it did not! Still iWeb, mail, etc etc do crash trying to load the Aperture Library. When I have another default Library they do not crash. Unfortunately it is my main (loaded) library that makes these MediaBrowser/applications crash, but ONE: ComicLifeMagiq. This application goes even beyond everything: it loads all my libraries at the same time. Does anybody have the same experience with the MediaBrowsers still to this day? Or is there anybody out there who would be able to help me out!
