Hi guys I have a question for you 'cause I found no answer on the web.
Why the hell when I import my pics in my Aperture Library, they are darker than what I see in the preview box?
In the preview box I see pics as I see them in (for example) DPP (I shot Canon).
After, when Aperture finishes importing them (as RAW) it automatically 'optimize' my pics making them darker than they really are (1stop or sometimes 2 stops 0___0)
Is that a problem about some Aperture's 'optimizing' process or what else?

This points to the way that Aperture renders the file from the RAW, compared to the preview JPEG that the camera generated (which is what you are seeing in the import window).
I would recommend reading the post A Comprehensive Look at Thumbnails, Previews, and More in Aperture 3 for a clear understanding of the differences in files, and what happens on import.
However, that said, one to two stops is quite a lot. Typically what you’ll see is a gamma and/or a color shift. One to two stops of exposure are quite a lot. But here’s something to try…
Can you check your color settings in the camera, and set them to “default” or “neutral”, and try again? If you have a setting in there like “vibrant” or whatever, then those adjustments are added to the preview JPEG that the camera generates, which is what you see on the back of the camera, as well as in the import window. However once you import the RAW file, Aperture will render from the native RAW data and has no idea what the camera was trying to do based on those settings.
