When making some flash pictures of people at night, I end up with some persons having yellow or shiny patches. What is the best way to correct for these? I am shooting in Raw on a Canon S90.
Lower the flash intensity, if you can. I’m not familiar with that camera. You can also soften the flash by taking a small piece of acetate (opaque plastic sheet) and cutting it to fit over the flash head, and kinda bowing it out and taping it onto the camera. If that doesn’t make sense, let me know and I’ll try to illustrate it better.
