May be a stupid question, but forgive me as I am totally new to Aperture. I like shooting in JPEG only as opposed to RAW. My question is: Can I edit photos shot in JPEG only? Thanks a lot.

Simple question, simple answer - yes.

Cheers.

Thomas,

You can also work with GIF, TIFF, PNG, PDF, or PSD.

Just to be sure you’re shooting JPG for all the right reasons, if you’re unsure of the benefits of RAW, I recommend you check out the Live Training 006 where I address the benefits of RAW with a fabulous (*cough* *cough*) “white board” drawing. It’s not pretty but the information is sound :)

cheers
