Having recently relocated my masters from one HD to another; I checked locating referenced files for all Photos. Everything but around 1300 files were properly linked and verified. While I have been able to correct some of my errors, there is one thing that does not make sense. When I select an entire group of pics and 'locate referenced files', the new pane comes up and I link one from the top to the same in the bottom pane. The other 'unlinked' pics are in the same location. When I click Reconnect All; only one links and not the others. This will work for one at a time. Any idea why all in the same location are not reconnecting as before? Thanks.

Unfortunately I don’t know what causes that and I have seen it before myself. Have you tried any database repairs? Maybe that will kick things into gear.
I can’t say if I’ve tried that myself; I just know that I’ve tediously reconnected dozens of files manually before. Never 1300 though. Ouch.
