Is there a way to create a separate area for videos? Ex) On Inspector underneath NEW AP LIBRARY it currently has : Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places. Is it possible to create a new “section” called Videos? I want to keep my pictures and videos that were taken on the same day in different areas; does anyone have any ideas?

You can create a smart album that keeps track of all your videos, but as of right now Aperture won’t let you change what shows up under the Library or Recent headings.
