Missing Library Icons #1

For a while now I've had this problem that my Aperture Library icons will all of a sudden go “blank”, that is the library name (text) is there but there is no icon with it at ALL. This is true for all views in the finder and across several drives. Vault files are unaffected.

Usually (always can't recall a reboot will fix the problem). Any ideas as to what is causing this?!

Late 09 iMac i7 2.8GHz
16GB RAM
OS X 10.8.2
Aperture 3.4.3
iPhoto 8.1.2 (if that matters)

Really, no one else has this problem?

I have never experienced it. Have a look at this thread though on the apple discussion support site:

Look for the posting by trip3535, about 9 down from the top. I do not know if that would help cure it.

Thanks, but I think that this refers to missing icons within the Aperture library (in the sidebar), where what is missing for me are the icons for my Aperture Libraries at the Finder Level! As in: http://www.pbase.com/pyanez/image/147819144

I had the same problem. After a Restart, everything was back to normal.
