I just installed Mountain Lion and updated Aperture to 3.3.2. Now my Photomatix HDR program will not run. Any ideas out there. Just get a pop-up window that says Photomatix is not compatible with this version of Aperture.

James,

According to the HDRSoft website FAQ (http://www.hdrsoft.com/support/faq_photomatix.html#pse), Photomatix is universal 32/64 bit.

Do you have the latest version of Photomatix?

I can confirm that the following combination *works*:

OS X Lion/10.7.4
Aperture 3.3.2
Photomatix 4.2.1
Photomatix Plugin for Aperture 2.1

Very interested to hear if the issue is a Mountain Lion one or a downrev Photomatix. Holding off on my upgrade for a bit…

I’ve been running Photomatix (Standalone, Aperture and CS6 formats) on Mountain Lion, with Aperture (3.2-3.3) and have yet to have any problems.
