Hi

Im having a strange problem, and I don't know if it is related to my iMac, or Aperture or…

When I'm in Aperture, and browsing my pictures, on several pictures some strange green, or pink dot appears, see here.

Have anybody seen this before, and is it related to Aperture or is my iMac have some issues. I have seen this on both MLion and Lion.

Thanks.

Never seen Aperture do this before.
Open a file in some external editor.
Same issue?
Could it be from your camera?

that looks like sensor damage. What camera is it? Lucky you …you get the opportunity to buy a new one. Sorry

I have not seen this in other application, like Adobe LR. I have just tried open the picture I linked to in aperture, and now it dots are gone on that picture but appears on other pictures.

I dont think it is my Canon 7D, as I also see it on pictures taken with a Sony A200.

It must be related to either my iMac or Aperture.

Could be your video processor. Hard to diagnose until it goes completely.

Agreed, it sounds like a failing video card. Do you have an Apple store nearby? They can run a diagnostics on it for you.
