I just got a Panasonic DMC-FZ38 super-zoom compact and am finding that Aperture 3.3.2 with RAW update 3.1.4 will render RAW files shot with the aspect ratio set to 4:3 or 16:9 just fine, but it garbles those shot at 3:2. Tried importing DNGs made with Adobe DNG Converter, but no joy. Ever heard of this issue?
Talked with Apple specialist, sent a sample RAW file, and confirmed issue is with OS X RAW support. I’ll post news when I hear from Apple engineers.
