Has the download of pictures changed with the new version of aperature. I have the new MBP Retina laptop and have noticed a difference in the download. My pictures download however I don't see them processing in the lower left hand corner once you get them off the card. I am thinking maybe this is new with the new retina laptop or something has changed with the most recent aperature update.
Any thoughts !

No, nothing has changed there. Could just be that your new MBP is so fast you’re not seeing it process? ;-)
Go to the Window > Show Activity menu and you can open the same Activity window and see what’s happening.
