I am not able to get Aperture to import the ratings I set in-camera for photos taken with my Canon 5D MkIII. I thought at one point this was working.
I would appreciate any advice about how to get this to work.

Dudley,
I didn’t think that worked. You can flag/lock files in camera, and then have Aperture only import flagged/locked files, but I don’t believe those flags, or any ratings, come through to Aperture. I’d love to be wrong about this, but that was always my understanding. I don’t have a Mk III so can’t test on that model, but I know at least in the past this did not work on the 5D Mk II.
