I have one question about my work with aperture 3.
I import my photos, and in “Aperture LIbrary” i choose “Store files” and i put all photos in my computer.

Then i have photos in aperture program, and the original in my computer.
I work with referenced files.
My question is:

If i move one photo (in aperture program) from one project to other project, the original stay in the same location in my computer.
It´s is possible work from this way?

Can i move a lot of photos from one project to other?

Thanks

Jose,

I think I understand what you’re saying. When importing, you are choosing to store the files in a folder in the Finder, right? Then you’re asking why those aren’t moving when you move them in Aperture?

Aperture doesn’t move the Originals for you when you move them in Aperture. It knows where they are but does not move them unless you choose the command “Relocate Masters” and tell it where you want them to go.

Does that answer your question?
