I am using Aperture version 3.2.4. Our Symantec backup software reports when backing up that Aperture library.aplibrary/database/apdb/history.apdb is a corrupt file. What is the history.apdb file used for and should I be concerned that Symantec is reporting that this is a corrupt file?

Stu Ive seen this file a lot in the Activity Monitor. I don’t know the true nature of the file but would guess its recording changes made to the library from the last update. I would think Rebuilding the Lib would bring the history file back to empty, (for lack of a technical name). I would not be concerned that Symantec sees this as corrupt. Hopefully some of our smarter friends reading this will correct me. dbm
