Hi Guys, Had a catastrophic failure of my laptop, (windose 32bit) Been reassessing new software, with Adobe's creative stormcloud, I'm thinking I might jump ship and move all Apple Regards, Gary
iPhoto and Aperture can use the same library so you can use either one depending on what you want to do. For photo management and adjustments I would use Aperture. The only time I can think of to go into iPhoto is for the few things only it can do. For example only iPhoto can create calendars and cards using the built-in templates.
I use Aperture and my wife uses iPhoto. We both share the same photo library.
She loves the simplicity and photo books in iPhoto whereas I shoot RAW and love the editing abilities in Aperture. We both enjoy each others photos being able to share the same library.
Aperture doesnt replace iPhoto but is a very good upgrade with a different interface.
Cheers

So would you still use both programs then?
