Just watched your 104 video. Smart albums I get. Great feature. But can you tell me what the search field in the graphic below does … I’ve never been able to get it to find anything … if indeed, that’s what it’s for.

This is used to (1) search for items in the library (projects, folders, albums) containing the search term or (2) items in the description field of the project’s information panels containing the search term.
The results are returned in the library panel. Make sure the library heirarchy is expanded to see the actual containers found.
It’s a very useful feature for finding stuff in a large library, or limiting what is displayed in the library panel.
Ah - I’ve only tried to search for photo files … not folders, projects, albums. Thanks for the explanation Jim.
