I have Aperture set to have a managed library. The library file is named Aperture Library.
Yesterday, I made a backup of my Aperture Library. Then, I changed Aperture from a managed library to a referenced library, and I made a Photo Library folder in which to house the referenced photos. The change took several hours, after which, I realized the way I’d chosen to name my photo files during the switch wasn’t right. So, I’d like to revert back and do it again.
How?
As I said, I have a backup of my Aperture Library managed library file. I assume I have to do more than just replace the current Aperture Library file with the backup… right? Or, is that really the only thing I have to do?
Hi,
I would say that if you are sure of your backup, it is the only thing to do :) you need also to clean the photo you were exporting…
if you have some doubts, you can restore your library on another name so you have the 2 files.
Good luckm
J.
I don’t understand what this means: ”you need also to clean the photo you were exporting…”
