I downloaded about a thousand images from a recent trip into my Aperture managed library. I worked with some files for a while and everything was fine. Then, Super Duper, my automatic system backup software started up and all the recently downloaded images instantly vanished. All that shows are blank outlines for each file with a yellow symbol that looks like an alias icon. The metadata and all file information is still there but no images. Does anyone know how to get the images back into the library? They still appear to exist in the backup file created as part of my initial download.
Try Re-importing them from your back up files and delete the corrupted files that are missing images.

Thanks, John. That seems to be the best solution.
