After trying out the Noiseless Pro demo, I purchased the product because of its excellent results. However, I have a couple of concerns that I hope are being addressed.
1. I’ve noticed that when doing virtually anything on the screen, i.e., scrolling, zooming, or changing the view, the program essentially reprocesses the image. This can take several seconds for a large RAW file, say from a D800 or D4S. Isn’t the display cached anywhere? I can live with a slow initial processing time, or the time it takes to reprocess based on a parameter change. But simply panning around the screen? Obviously, this greatly affects the productivity of the application.
2. There does not appear to be any capability to process more than one image at a time, either when using the plug-in or when running in standalone mode. Even though multiple images can be selected, only one image gets transferred to the application for processing. Say I have a couple hundred selects from a theatre performance shot at ISO 5000 or 6400. Is there any way to process those images other than one at a time? Or is there some hidden batch processing feature I haven’t found yet?
I hope there’s something in your development plans to address these issues. Thanks.
Hi Jim - Sorry for the tardy reply! I will pass along the re-process comment along to the developers. We’ve also talked about adding batch processing to Noiseless and it’s something under strong consideration. When we address these, you’ll hear it here asap.
Thanks again for the comment!

Hey Jim,
I ran into the same problem. The solution that I found was to install Noiseless Pro as a Photoshop Plug In, then open one of your photos in photoshop, record a new action, make your desired edits, then once you are done you can batch process the images through photoshop either through bridge or photoshops batch processing menu. When I did it, I still had to click OK to confirm the JPEG options to save each photo but it was still much faster than editing each photo one by one. I’m sure there is a was to bypass this option as well.
Hope this helps.

I think at this point Actions is the way to go. ;-) Kevin (from Macphun)

Thanks for the feedback, but I don’t use Photoshop. However, I do process thousands of images through Aperture, and potentially Lightroom, that require good noise reduction. I was hoping Noiseless Pro would offer a solution, but without any form of batch processing that is looking more and more like it won’t be the solution.
Also, even if I were using the Photoshop action approach, as Rick stated I would still have to baby-sit the process to save each file individually, and that defeats the whole purpose of batch processing.
Yep, totally understand. I’ll send this thread to the engineering manager.

Thanks, Kevin.
Hey Kevin!
I’ve the same problem.. 10.000 pictures of ballet that have to be denoised….
For my needs isn’t important how fast works the preview, but is quite important that a bach editing is possible (Mac working day/night and i can live a bit or work on other).
Thanks
Kevin, if i use your plugin in lightroom, it make a file copy in a smart collection, loosing all the adjustment just done.. :/
Hi everyone - just a quick note and reminder to update your copy of Noiseless to get our new… drum roll please…. Batch Processing feature! ;-)
To update, just launch the app as a standalone and then choose Check for Updates. The Batch feature is really cool - here’s a link to a video: https://youtu.be/_ho9OhgM2Rk?list=PLQlozenYb0jB7PKZa_0JPR-yKmD6F4dIe
Have fun! Kevin

Just purchased all Macphun Apps in a bundle from Macphun. Have not been able to register them thus can’t use them. Macphun support and I have spent two hours in the last week trying to solve problem. Last comment from Macphun support after looking at info from terminal after trying registration is the following “
Unfortunately, we are not able to fix the issue due to the problems with your Internet.
According to the logs the outgoing request cannot be sent to our activation server, as something is blocking the request.
Regrettably, there is not under our authority to contact your Internet provider.
May I suggest you to contact Internet provider by yourself and try to anywise what is blocking the outgo in request from our application, therefore they may fix that issue?
Has anyone had same problem. I have a late 2014 macbook pro 10.10.5 anti virus off firewall off. keep getting this error message ”Connection Error. Please try later”
Comcast is looking into it. Will try neighbor who has ATT internet service.

Thanks for your business! Re: activation, it sure sounds like you have your Mac configured properly. I have the AT&T u-Verse service at home and am able to activate w/ no issues.
Please let support@macphun.com know what Comcast says… You might also try heading into your nearest Starbucks… ;-)
