Pre-Order Troubles #1

Joseph,  I have tried pre-ordering your training sessions the last two times and on both occasions I had difficulties and just gave up and waited until after the session was completed and made available in the store to purchase them.  The pre-order process won’t let me use PayPal.  Any ideas?

Hm, I'm not sure what you mean Florian. We recently (as in, a few days ago) removed the PayPal “quick checkout” feature because it was failing to send the order to PayPal and the orders sat as “pending” indefinitely, so now you have to go through the long checkout process. However I just tried it and got all the way to the PayPal screen no problem. Can you describe more specifically what is or isn't happening?

OK, so this time I did not click on the paypal option and went further down on the page, used the drop down menu and selected my email address which loaded some of my info.  I selected state, zip code, etc then clicked on “Apply to Order” and got a message that I needed to “enter a valid coupon code.” So right now either method does not seem to let me pre-order.

Joseph,  OK, this is bizarre.  I just retried everything and was able to order it through PayPal after I reloaded my info.  I’m not sure where the problem lied.  It was either a user issue, i.e., me! or my computer is acting funny.  My local internet service was acting awfully slow today so maybe that was it. Anyway, I got the pre-order (I’ll be roaming Glacier NP on thursday so I’ll miss attending live).  Looking forward to this next session.  I keep learning new things with each session even though I had all of the 00x series!  :-)

OK, glad it's working. Could be a browser cache issue too. I'm not sure I know what you mean though by clicking the PayPal option; it should be the only option (unless your oder is $10 or over), and already selected, so there shouldn't even be a PayPal button — just a “Review order”, then “checkout” at the end.

Hm, actually I wonder if you were seeing some of the old UI there, form before we took out the express checkout. In which case, its' definitely a cache issue.

Anyway glad it's sorted, and glad you're learning new things! Leave a review on some  of 'em; hardly anyone does :-(

Joseph, By click on paypal, I meant I actually tried to click on the PayPal orange icon even though the button for paypal was already selected…Duh.  The previous time I tried to pre-order the page did not come up and I got some warning message that I forget.  So I just waited for the session to be done before ordering.  I’ll definitely leave some comments in the future.  :-)

Joseph, Hi, love your presentations.

I have downloaded your $59 GH5 tutorials, but have only 4 videos, (Chapter2, videos 1-4) Is that the complete download or an instalment? My original download has now disappeared and unless I repay what I have already paid. 

I have 4 videos that have already been explained to me through your various you tube presentations. How do I get to re-download in order to try again.
