accessing (not editing) an aperture library from two computers on a home network #1

I have been reading everywhere that Aperture is not multiuser software - I understand that, but ‘all’ we want to do is have my wife browse my library on her desktop in another room (which Plex is brilliant at) but then be able to ask for a particular image to be downloaded to her computer - ‘save as’ in Plex ony gives a crude html file - any ideas would be welcome :-)

now that is a bit crazy - immediately after posting this question, I come across BlinqPhoto - downloaded onto my desktop and my wife’s and it works brilliantly - enabling my wife to browse my Aperture library (of 25,000 photos) and download images readily - problem solved - just wondering why nobody else (that I noticed anyway) has mentioned this ! ?
