Anormal behavior of adjustments #1

Hi all,
sometimes, just randomly, I cannot see the adjustments I've made to some pictures, mostly brushes, but even exposure.
If I quit Aperture and relaunch, most times this seems to solve the problem, other times just don't.
Adjustments however are there, in fact if I “lift adjustments” I can see brushes strokes and other things listed, but if I export the image then no adjustments are visible on the final jpeg.
If I duplicate version, the new version does have all the adjustments.
Also - and this is odd - if I resize the viewer window, I can see the adjustments, but they just disappear as soon as I stop resizing…
I've been searching the net for solutions but haven't found any so far.
Does anyone have or had the same problem?
Many thanks for your help in advance

Regards,
Guido

Kinda sounds like your thumbnails aren’t getting updated. That could be caused by a permissions problem or other library problem.

Where is the library stored? Is it being shared by any other users?

I would first try the repair permissions command. Take a look at the first entry in the FAQ section of this site. The link is at the top of every page.

the library is stored on a SSD root and is not shared by any other user.
I want to try trashing the library cache folder, but cannot find it, the path should be user/library/caches.
Any ideas?

Things changed when they sandboxed the app. I forget which version did it. Could have been 3.3.

Look in:
user/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture/Data/Library

An easier way to delete cache files is with a utility called OnyX.
