I am late. I still run Yosemite on My 2014 MacBook Pro. I am afraid to move to El Capitan. My Aperture Library is only (!) 290 GB… Hart to move.
Any recommendation where to go: Photos? Lightroom? (Do not like the Adobe rendering). Where to I loose minimum?
Aperture runs fine on El Capitan. So, if you’re not in a hurry you can stay on Aperture.

I still hope that Apple bring back the stars for ratings - this would make the transition to photos so much easier…
