Hi There, just another frustrating problem I have at the moment.When I open Aperture and start editing(especially the clone tool) it shuts down asking if I want to report the problem to Apple.It is really bad sometimes but OK others.What can I do? Anyone have any suggestions please.

What version of Aperture are you using and on what machine?
How much memory does your machine have?

I have a Mac OSX 10.6.8,2.8GHZ int Core i5,Memory 12GB 1333 MHZ DDR3 ( copied that from the About My Mac. Is that enough information? Much appreciate your advise.
The latest Aperture is designed to run on OSX 10.7.5 or later.
You might upgrade your OSX to a newer version.
Then update to the latest version of Aperture 3.4.3.
