Hi

OK so i upgraded from iPhoto to Aperture. So far so good. I've worked out Stacks i think but have found when you tags a face and then view all the faces in the library you see both the original and the modifications you've made that form the stack.

Any idea if there is a way to just show the latest one / whichever has been promoted ?

Cheers

R

Rob,

As far as I know, Faces will just show all photos. I don’t really use the feature, but from what I have seen in it there’s no way to filter what you do or don’t see. Actually hmm, I wonder if you could do a filter once you’ve opened a face to see all matches, to show only stack picks? Once you’ve opened a face, I’m assuming you have the same filter searches you normal would. If so, then look for the Stack Picks Only checkbox: [screenshot]

Also you can avoid having multiple versions entirely ever time you make an adjustment, if you like. Just open Preferences > Advanced and disable Create new versions when making adjustments [screenshot].
