I think I've written it before - I somehow got the feeling that the decision to stop Aperture development and concentrate on Photos may actually have been quite fresh. It could even be that this wasn't decided when they demoed Photos at the WWDC. I think Apple is listening very carefully on what things are important to Aperture users.

Let’s hope that some of the in house retail people are heavy users of Aperture. It would be nice if Apple approached some pros or a certain blog owner to get some input as well,

The good news is - Apple is looking for significant feedback as those employee “enthusiasts” need to relocate to be part of the project. I suspect there is someone here who knows more about Apple’s testing procedures but let’s hope a certain loyal Aperture blog owner also gets a chance to add his two bits worth before they finish the process!
