This may not be good news if you have been waiting for the new Apple Photo App that is suppose to replace Aperture and iPhoto the beginning of 2015. This was posted on 9to5Mac http://9to5mac.com/2015/01/27/photos-for-mac-removed-from-apple-website/ a sort time ago.
Photos release in April according to Image-Resource article. Take any non-Apple source with a grain of salt.
