Hi Joseph and Everyone,
I have noticed that when I look at the autofocus points on the “info” pane, the right hand point is always the red one (when in horizontal aspect).
I shot some test images, making sure I used the centre AF point, but on importing the RAW image, the right-most AF point is showing as red.
Camera is a 500D - this happens with all lenses.
Any thoughts?

I suspect you have your camera’s autofocus settings that tell it to switch autofocus points when vertical. If there isn’t a setting for that, it may be designed like that since it’s a prosumer class camera.
