Hi, Just wondering if I can I automatically include the parent level keyword When I add a keyword?

e.g. If I keyword an image with horse, can I make it so it automatically includes Animal also?

I know if I search for animal in Aperture, the image will come up, but if I export the image, the only keyword is horse.

Thanks

Did no one answer this?  Joseph has a script that will flatten the keywords so you can import the image with entire keyword hierarchy in tact.

What kind of script is this?

On the other hand I have doubts if it makes sense to add more new functions to Aperture at this time as no one confirmed that in a new programme you can take over your hierachy of keywords.

Best regards, Alex

It’s called Expand Hierarchical Keywords.  I couldn’t figure out how to link to it, but if you search for that, you’ll find it.  It was introduced in a May 2014 post by Scott Davenport.  I guess he’s actually the author.

Hard to know what Photos will let you do.  I haven’t been keeping up with that conversation.
